James founded Chailoka because he grew tired of fashionable clothing that lacked depth since these items wore him down instead of the other way around. He abandoned his search for meaningful clothing after multiple years and decided to create his own pieces. Our company exists to create clothing that should feel like a natural extension of your body while moving freely with you like it has always belonged. The way our clothing should feel matters to us because we want it to be both flexible and comfortable like it has always been yours. Our jackets follow your body movements while shirts become softer after washing and our details remain invisible to everyone else.

We work with mills and artisans who share our values because they understand luxury requires no compromises so we use organic cottons and recycled wools and earth-friendly dyes. Our only way to rest at night is through this approach. James personally inspects every new design prototype while our team members meticulously examine every seam and appreciate the small imperfections which demonstrate human craftsmanship. Our community welcomes anyone who supports the idea of possessing fewer items while deeply appreciating them as they develop unique character and adjust to personal experiences and reveal personal identity.
